On May 14, 2020 (GMT +0800), We have successfully prototyped a client-only browser software called “Hound”. This software allows any visitor (especially mobile devices) to provide persistent and consistent input easily to integrated backend including Google Drive.
Hound development was inspired by Selangor state of Malaysia where they use the same level of technological understanding to track individuals interacted locations during Covid19 pandemic. Then, one of ZORALab client persuaded us to prototype such data harvester technology.
Hound was developed to have 6 pillars in hand:
- friendly, self-service capable data visualtion and backend
- low cost data harvesting
- customizable user interface
- resilient to multiple point-of-failures working environment
- avoid vendor-locking
- compatible with cloud computing and edge computing.
Hound is currently identified to be deployed to be as web application input interface or data input terminal of many Internet-of-Things data harvesting project.
